Xiaomi 11T: Flagship Killer, eh?
Xiaomi has once again entered the market with a MediaTek-powered 5G smartphone and this time, this is termed as a flagship killer for the users. It’s the new Xioami 11T smartphone that has already been launched in some parts of the world and is looking good with all the features that it contains.
An element that surprised me is the name of the smartphone. Generally, when you see flagship smartphones, they will come with names like “The BRAND” Ultra Pro Max Blah Blah. LOL.
Well, this was a joke for sure and Xioami 11T looks really good with the specifications that it contains. Here is a list of some of the major specifications of Xioami 11T that you need to know:
Display:
Xiaomi 11T comes with a really interesting display. It contains a 6.67-inch display with AMOLED support and it also has 1B color support. The display also contains a powerful 120Hz display refresh rate and HDR10+ support with 800nits of typ brightness and 1000 nits of peak brightness.
The smartphone contains 1080p display resolution and 85.1% screen-to-body ratio. The display aspect ratio of the device is 20:9 and it is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus support to ensure durability.
Performance:
Xiaomi 11T is the second device from Xiaomi to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset after the Poco F3 GT. You already know that this powerful 5G chipset from Mediatek is 6nm in size with an octa-core structure and clock speed reaching as high as 3GHz. So this would already be a wonderful option for the buyers.
Besides, the smartphone contains MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 support and it also has ARM Mali-G77 MC9 to take care of the graphics section.
RAM and ROM:
The smartphone occurs in 2 variants of RAM and ROM and while you get the lower variant with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM, the higher variant has the same 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Now here’s a thing that seems odd to me. Xiaomi has been offering all the smartphones with Dimensity 1200 chipset with only 8GB RAM only while most other brands offer a 12GB RAM variant as well. Though 8GB is less by no means from a competitive point of you, they should come with 12GB RAM variants as well.
Camera:
The camera support in the device looks pretty interesting as well. The smartphone contains a 108MP main camera, which is supported by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 5MP telephoto macro camera. So it’s a triple camera setup with features such as Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama. It also contains video features such as 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120, gyro-EIS.
Now the front camera of the device is also interesting, with 16MP wide sensor, but I think it could have been better. The camera is surely good enough for taking selfies and making video calls but a 32MP camera would have been a lot better.
Battery:
For me, having a good battery in a smartphone is one of the most essential things and Xiaomi 11T comes with a powerful 5000mAh battery that has 67W fast charging support. This amount of battery is good enough for all kinds of gaming needs and you can play even the most demanding games without any troubles with th battery.
And when it gets discharged, you can plug it up, go have a meal and a drink, and come back to find it completely charged. Yes, Xiaomi boasts of the smartphone battery getting completely charged from 0 in just about 36 minutes which is pretty great.
Sensors and Security Features:
The smartphone contains a side-munted fingerprint sensor and other features such as an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass etc. with a face unlock feature as well.
With all these smart features, the cost of the smartphone starts close to $500 for the highest variant and this seems to be a pretty good deal. Do you think this smartphone would be a game-changer for the users with the kind of features it contains?
