Why Not to Bribe Your Kids in Their Childhood?

Do you bribe your children? Yes, most parents do, even when money is not a factor in the aspect. For instance, when you need something to be done by your kids, you promise something else which they really like and get the job done. Is it what you do? Well, you are teaching your kids the art of bribery without realizing the future consequences of it.

Nowadays, parents promise kids some really good gifts if they reach a certain percentage in their examination and they promise gifts when they need the kids to do something or when they need them to visit someplace.

Well, even when you do not involve money in this, your kids are learning that in order to get something done, they need to offer something better and this habit continues for them in the future as well. Later, when these kids become people who can manage to get their work done through bribery and dishonest ways, they will never try the honest methods.

And the seed of the lessons of bribery is sown by parents itself in the childhood. So if you do not wish your kids to bribe others in the future, you need to understand that you should not bribe your kids in their present.

Your kids may get a lot of marks in greed for gifts from their parents, but do you think this is the correct way to get the job done? Your kids are only studying because they want a new bike or a new video game, and it seems the parents are pretty satisfied with this. They just want their kids to study at every cost, no matter what they do in the future.
