Do you wish to reduce your body weight? Yes!

Do you promise to follow every single thing that it takes? (With a little hesitancy) Yes!

Do you follow your routine sincerely? Ummm, No!

Are you used to these questions and answers from your self to self? Well, reducing body weight is perhaps the first-world problem these days with so many techniques and inventions to help you. However, you get results only when you follow any one of the routines sincerely.

However, some people turn absolutely unreasonable when looking to reduce body weight and indulge in unnatural activities that ultimately harm the body. Here is a list of some of the things that you should never do when trying to reduce your body weight:

  • Reducing weight is never related to eating less. If you are eating very little just to reduce your weight, you are harming your metabolism for the long run. However, you surely need to control your cravings and eat as much as healthy food you can. Eating less but eating junk food will only increase your weight.
  • The cheat day in your gym is one of the biggest hurdles in reducing your weight. This is the day when people load their body with carbs, fats, and calories and all these are not even burnable even with an entire week’s exercise. So even if it is a cheat day, eat as much healthy food and avoid having junk food.
  • Do not replace water with fruit juices and other drinks. Water has its own role in cleansing your body and reducing your weight. And drinking juices in a timely manner is not wrong but consume fruits more than juices.
  • Do not try to reduce your weight very soon. If it took time to gain weight, it will take time to reduce it. By over exercising your body or fasting unreasonably, you would do more harm to your body than good and may even need to see a doctor.

So while trying to reduce weight, think with a cool head and be very reasonable and true to yourself. Unorthodox methods may offer results sometimes, but if they come at a cost of some body issues, these results are not worth it.
