Do you believe in the statement which says that while smartphones are getting smarter every single day, people using these smartphones are getting dumber? Wouldn’t it be so nice that the advancement of technology would make even the users of this technology smarter?

And this is why it is important to understand the difference between a smartphone and a smart phone. Let me start by defining both of them, and with their definition, you would get what I actually wish to convey.

  • Smartphone: A piece of object that is infused with the latest hardware and technology and is literally equipped to get you any help in the world in seconds. It is an object that can keep the users glued to it for hours without offering them an idea about the real world.
  • Smart Phone: A piece of object that is infused with the latest hardware and technology and is equipped to offer all the help that you need, but only when you need it. Smart phones are as attractive as the smartphones, but they do not see the face of the users too often and the users of these smart phones live more in the real world.

Did you get an idea of what I was trying to convey?

Well, if you could understand this, smartphones and smart phones are not really different. In fact, the real difference lies in their usage and the person using them. If you are smart enough to know how to make the best use of smartphones, you in fact have a smart phone. However, even the smartest phone in the world is not at all capable of making dumb people smart.

The main idea of all this text was to convey that people have been enslaved by technology and even when they have their own brains, they like to be driven by someone else’s brain today, mostly in the form of Artificial Intelligence. Well, now that the world is already influenced by technology so much, it’s not really possible to move out. However, you can make sure to use your phone like a smart phone and not as a smartphone.
