Realme X7 Max vs Xiaomi Poco X3 GT: Which One is Better?
Xiaomi Poco X3 GT has been launched in some countries and is about to make its debut globally. And if you look at the specifications of the smartphone, I think this would be similar to something like Realme X7 Max in terms of its cost.
And so I thought I should compare both these smartphones to offer you a better idea about them. Here is a specification comparison between Xiaomi Poco X3 GT and Realme X7 Max which are available at around the same cost:
Design and Display:
While Xiaomi Poco X3 GT weighs about 193g, Realme X7 Max weighs just 179g and this difference might be due to the battery segment of the device. However while the Xiaomi Poco X3 GT is covered with Gorilla Glass on both the front and the backside, the Realme smartphone has a glass front and a plastic back.
Talking about their display, while Xiaomi Poco X3 GT contains a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display, Realme X7 Max contains a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display. Both the smartphones contain 1080p display resolution and both also contain a 120Hz display refresh rate. Also, while Xiaomi Poco X3 GT contains Gorilla Glass Victus in front for protection, Realme X7 Max is protected by Dragontrail glass.
Performance:
There is a little difference in the performance aspect of the device as Xiaomi Poco X3 GT is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset that is octa-core in structure and is clocked at 2.6GHz. Against this, Realme X7 Max is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset that is against octa-core but has 3GHz has its primary clock speed and this is the highest by MediaTek chipset.
So you can see that both these smartphones have a little bit of difference in their chipsets but you already know that the one with Dimensity 1200 chipset would be a better performer.
RAM and ROM:
Both the smartphones are devoid of any memory card slot and whatever you get is only what you get with the smartphone. However, you would not feel any issues because both these smartphones contain huge 256GB storage as the max storage in the devices, while both contain 128GB storage variants as well.
However, while Xiaomi Poco X3 GT can support only up to 8GB RAM in the device, Realme X7 Max can support up to 12GB RAM in the device.
Camera:
Talking about the camera section in the devices, both the smartphones seem to have a similar 64MP triple rear camera which contains an LED flash for supporting the images at night. Besides, both these smartphones contain a 16MP front camera as well. However, the camera section of the Xiaomi Poco X3 GT smartphone is slightly better if you go a bit deeper into the specifications.
Battery Support:
The battery section is one of the strong points of the Xiaomi Poco X3 GT smartphone and it contains a huge 5000mAh battery that would last a pretty long period of time. Besides, it contains as much as 67W fast charging support which is similar to what is delivered by its elder sibling. Against this, Realme X7 Max contains a powerful 4500mAh battery, which is definitely less than its counterpart and it contains only 50W fast charging support, supporting up to 2.5W reverse charging support as well. So this is one aspect in which the Xiaomi smartphone turns out better.
Security Specs:
While both the smartphones contain a face unlock feature, Xiaomi Poco X3 GT contains a side-mounted fingerprint scanner while Realme X7 Max contains an under-display optical fingerprint sensor and this is much better. So in this aspect, Realme X7 Max takes a lead.
If you look at the overall specifications of the devices, while both Xiaomi Poco X3 GT and Realme X7 Max appear competitive, I think Realme X7 Max has an overall edge in terms of features and while the cost of the smartphones is almost similar as well, I think Realme X7 Max would be a better choice. What do you think?
