With lots of TV giants like Sony, Samsung, and LG in the American market, most people do make choices pertaining to these brands. However, with brands such as TCL, Xiaomi, and Vizio making a huge impression in the minds of people, the audience certainly seems to be divided quite a bit now. However, this is still not the end and newer brands such as Oppo and OnePlus too are coming up with newer products in the market.

Talking about Oppo, it released really grand series of TVs in the Indian and the Chinese market last year and they all went to be great sellers. Now, Oppo has brought these smart series of TVs to the US market as well and you can buy them at really good prices. However, let us first look at the specifications of one of these smart TVs before we move on to a conclusion.

So Oppo launched an Oppo S1 smart TV and Oppo R1 series of smart TVs in the market and here are some of the major specifications of Oppo S1 smart TB:

Specifications of Oppo S1 TV:

Display: Oppo S1 TV occurs in a single variant with a 65-inch screen size and 3840 x 2160 pixels display resolution. It has a 4K QLED quantum dot display with a 48Hz-120Hz variable refresh rate and up to 120% NTSC color gamut. Besides this, it supports 1.07 billion colors and up to 1500 nits brightness with features such as Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR 10+, and HLG etc.

This is one of the really good TV chipsets launched by MediaTek and is a part of several smart TVs these days. The graphics section of the TV is handled by a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU and it seems to have a really good picture and graphics quality. It also contains ColorOS as its operating system.

RAM and Storage: It might sound a bit unorthodox and strange but this Oppo smart TV contains 8.5GB of RAM which would offer great performance with the MediaTek chipset. Along with that, the smart TV contains 128GB of internal storage which is again a really useful feature for the users. You can download your favorite shows and store them on the TV itself.

Camera: While not many brands offer you one, this Oppo smart TV contains a 1080p pop-up camera that can help you make video calls quite easily.

Virtual Assistant: The smart TV comes with an Oppo-specific Breeno voice assistant and does the same job as Alexa or Google Assistant. You can change the channels and find content using this.

Wireless Connectivity: Owing to the MediaTek smart chipset, this Oppo TV can support Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax(2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.1 as well. Using these, you can connect all kinds of smart speakers to the TV and also connect the TV easily to your home network.

Wired Connectivity: Oppo S1 Smart TV contains a duo of HDMI 2.1 ports, a single HDMI 2.0 (ARC) port, two USB 3.0 ports, an optical, an Ethernet, and an NFC one-key screen projection as well.

Audio: The smart TV could deliver up to 85W audio output and this is huge as far as a smart TV is concerned. It contains 18 speaker systems with 5.1.2 channels and these consist of one 12W center channel, a couple of 8W left and right channels, a couple of 8W left and right surround, a 25W subwoofer, and a couple of 8W Sky channel). Besides, it supports Dolby Atmos as well.

These are some of the major specifications of the Oppo S1 Smart TV that has been quite a sensation in the Asian markets and is now featuring the American markets as well. Oppo has already established itself as a smartphone brand this smart TV is something that would enhance the credibility of the brand further. With Vizio TVs creating issues for people, the day is not far when Oppo will take over the other brands.
