MediaTek Dimensity Series: A Series Check

5G is a really hot topic in the recent time period and while many countries are enjoying the 5G network to the fullest, most of the nations in the world are ready to embrace it soon. However, almost all nations have received 5G-powered smartphones and they are ready to welcome the arrival of this next generation in the smartphone network from hilt to heel.

And while the smartphone brands are ready with the use of 5G chipsets, more and more such chipsets keep coming up every single day to lure the buyers. Among these, the MediaTek Dimensity series is one of the hot favorite of the brands. While most of the brands have already used chipsets from the series, some of them are planning to do so very soon.

So I would really like to throw some light on the major series of chipsets launched till now under the MediaTek Dimensity series.

MediaTek Dimensity Series Chipsets:

MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Series:

MediaTek Dimensity 1000 series is like the highest level of chipset series by MediaTek currently and contains some really powerful products such as MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus, MediaTek Dimensity 1000, MediaTek Dimensity 1000L, and MediaTek Dimensity 1000C in order of the power they contain. Smartphones with these chipsets might cost you something starting from $450 and could go to any height as per the features they contain.

However, it is important to know that while MediaTek Dimensity 1000C is a part of this series, it is actually a quite different entity. It is like a mid-range chipset among these flagships and is slightly less in power than even some of the mid-range MediaTek 5G chipset.

MediaTek Dimensity 800 Series:

MediaTek Dimensity 800 series is the mid-range chipset series by the brand and it contains some really powerful chipsets such as MediaTek Dimensity 820, MediaTek Dimensity 800U, and MediaTek Dimensity 800 in the order of the amount of power they contain. You can get smartphones powered by these chipsets at a cost between $250 and $450, based on the kind of features they offer. And mind you, these are really good for all kinds of users, whether you are a gamer or a normal user.

MediaTek Dimensity 700 Series:

MediaTek would not disappoint you even if you are a budget buyer and want a 5G smartphone at less than $200. This series contains some amazing chipsets such as MediaTek Dimensity 720 and MediaTek Dimensity 700. Yes, there are only two in the series yet but more are to come very soon.

One very special feature about all the MediaTek Dimensity series is their size and their modem. All the chipsets in the MediaTek Dimensity series launched till now are 7nm in size and they all contain an integrated 5G modem in the chipsets. Against this, many of the Qualcomm 5G chipsets are 8nm in size which is not got and most of them do not contain an integrated 5G modem which is again something that most of the users do not love.

So MediaTek Dimensity series has chipsets for every buyer and budget and soon, MediaTek is planning to launch series such as MediaTek Dimensity 600 budget 5G series to lessen the cost of 5G more. Also, MediaTek came up with a release about MediaTek Dimensity 2000 series which is a 5nm chipset series. This would be launched very soon and it would be one of the most powerful chipset series.

So I think MediaTek is doing pretty great in the market and it should get the deserved attention from the users.
