Last Days of Ronaldo in Football?
At the moment, nothing is going right for the GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo in football. He is a superstar and perhaps the most followed sportsperson in the world. However, luck doesn’t seem to be on his side and after losing the World Cup 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo lost his contract with the European Football League as well.
However, he sealed a multi-million deal with the Saudi Arabian Football Club Al-Nassr, who paid him $225 million for a 3-year deal with the club. And while this was seen as a lucrative opportunity that Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed with both hands. In fact, Saudi Arabia made consideration in some of its national laws to accommodate Cristiano Ronaldo in the country.
He was the first one to live with his girlfriend in the country without even getting married. However, even this opportunity did not prove too good for him because Al-Nassr’s boss Rudi Garcia claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo will not end his football career at the club and he will return to European football in some time.
Looks like they are not happy with the performance of Ronaldo in the recent series. Al-Nassr got defeated by Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup recently and Cristiano Ronaldo could not score even a single goal despite good opportunities.
Garcia also criticized Ronaldo when he said. “One of the things that changed the course of the match was Cristiano’s missed opportunity in the first half.” Well, it looks like luck is not favoring Cristiano Ronaldo even a bit and he may return to Europe soon. Do you think this is the end of Cristiano Ronaldo in football or will he make a comeback?
