If Monica married Joey in FRIENDS

Monica and Chandler, or rather, Mondler (as they say), has been one of the best on-screen couples in our favorite FRIENDS show. I am literally obsessed with FRIENDS and have binge-watched it so many times. And while all the characters in the show have been exceptional, including Janice and Gunther, Phoebe has been my personal favorite.

As far as Monica and Chandler are concerned, the show-makers were first trying to couple Joey and Monica. However, they later realized that Mondler made a very good couple and they changed their decision. But did you ever think that what would have happened if Monica married Joey instead of Chandler? Well, here is what I thought.

If Joey married Monica, Joey would have turned a hippopotamus in just a year. Joey loved eating and Monica loved cooking new recipes. I bet Joey would have never found himself full enough to not be able to taste the new things cooked by Monica. And in this manner, Joey would have certainly consumed so much that he would have doubled what Monica originally weighed. We have already seen a glimpse of this in one of the episodes.

However, their life would have been a total mess as well. Joey was a messy person who was extremely disorganized. And as far as Monica is concerned, she liked her surroundings absolutely clean. No doubt, when Joey messed around., Monica would have had a hard time cleaning the mess, even if she loved the job.

However, this could never happen because Monica and Chandler were perfect for each other. I wish I too could get someone like Monica to fill my life.
