Did you think that Honor from Huawei is no more manufacturing new devices? Well, after a setback in the US, the sale of Honor devices indeed went down, but they are still a part of the market and are offering some good gadgets for your needs.

So if you are looking for a budget-segment smartphone, you can totally trust the new Honor Play 40 Plus smartphone which comes with Android 12 support and has some other interesting features as well. Here is a view of some of the major features of the new Honor Play 40 Plus device to assist you if you are aiming to get it soon:

  • Honor Play 40 Plus is a slim device with a size of just 8.4mm and it weighs about 196g. It has dual Nano-SIM support with dual standby and is available in 4 beautiful colors which are Blue, Black, Silver, and Purple.
  • The smartphone arrives with a 6.74-inch display and has TFT LCD support with a 90Hz display refresh rate. It has about 85.1 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 720p display resolution as well. And although almost all the display specs sound good enough, I think the 720p display resolution should have been a bit better.
  • The device is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 700 processor which is a 7nm budget 5G processor with an octa-core structure and a primary clock speed of 2.2GHz. This MediaTek processor comes with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 as the GPU and it has reasonably good performance at a low cost. You get Magic UI 6.1 support over Android 12 as the operating system.
  • The smartphone has been launched in China recently in 3 different variants and while you can get the lowest variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, the mid variant comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. If you need better storage, you can go for the highest variant that contains 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. So you can choose your RAM and storage according to your requirements.
  • Talking about the camera section of the device, the smartphone contains a powerful 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera support with an LED flash and it also contains video capturing support at 1080p at 30 frames per second. I think the rear camera is pretty good according to the cost of the device. However, the 5MP front camera could have been slightly better. These days, people love clicking selfies and they would definitely like a better selfie camera.
  • One of the best features of this powerful smartphone is the huge 6000mAh battery that can surely last a couple of days with the kind of power it contains. The smartphone also contains 22.5W charging support which would charge the smartphone reasonably fast.
  • It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and this looks good enough at the cost. Also, you get a face unlock feature, USB Type-C 2.0 support, and a USB on-the-go feature as well.

So this powerful Honor Play 40 Plus is quite good with the features it contains. Although it is yet to be launched in the US market, you can get it from distinct stores and try it out. It should be a wonderful option for buyers.
