Doogee S100 vs Doogee S100 Pro: Changes, Good or Better?

Did you read about the new Doogee S100 Pro smartphone in my last post? If you did, you would know that smartphones with huge batteries are the latest trend. And even Doogee S100 Pro is the successor to the new Doogee S100 smartphone that started the trend of bringing huge batteries in rugged devices.

But is the new Doogee S100 Pro different from the Doogee S100 smartphone that was launched some time back? Let us know some of the similarities and differences between the Doogee S100 and Doogee S100 Pro to get a better idea about them:

Similarities Between Doogee S100 and Doogee S100 Pro:

• Doogee S100 and Doogee S100 Pro are quite similar in terms of their rugged structure. Both these smartphones are resistant to dust and water and can be used for underwater photography as well. Besides, these smartphones are resistant to drops on concrete from a height of about 1.5m.

• Both these smartphones have a similar display with a 6.58-inch display size and IPS LCD support and 1080p display resolution.
• Both Doogee S100 and Doogee S100 Pro contain a powerful MediaTek Helio G99 gaming processor that is just 6nm in size and can be really power-efficient while gaming. Besides, the Android 12 support with the device and the GPU support with both devices are the same.
• The devices have been launched in just a single variant and both of them contain 12GB RAM along with 256GB internal storage. However, they stand different in terms of the UFS support they offer.
• Both Doogee S100 and Doogee S100 Pro contain exactly the same kind of camera. They come equipped with 108MP camera support along with 16MP ultrawide camera and a 20MP night vision camera that has 2 infrared night vision lights. Besides, the rear camera contains dual-LED flash support. Even the 32MP front camera is the same in both devices.

Differences Between Doogee S100 and Doogee S100 Pro:

• One of the biggest differences between the devices is the battery support. Doogee S100 was launched with a huge 10800mAh battery that comes with 66W fast charging support and this already amazed the buyers. However, Doogee S100 Pro has been launched with a 22000mAh battery and this is just double what was offered by the predecessor. However, the charging support in the device has been reduced to just 33W.
• The devices stand different in terms of their size and weight as well. While Doogee S100 contained a thickness size of just 17.9mm, Doogee S100 Pro comes with a thickness of 27.3mm, and owing to this, Doogee S100 Pro is slightly heavier than Doogee S100.
• Doogee S100 Pro comes with a flashlight that is 130 lumens and is bright enough to lighten a certain area while you are off camping or trekking. Doogee S100 lacks this feature.
• Doogee S100 Pro comes with the newer Corning Gorilla Glass 5 support against Corning Gorilla Glass support in Doogee S100 smartphone.
• Doogee S100 supports up to UFS 2.2 storage type while Doogee S100 Pro can support up to UFS 3.1 storage type.
